I figured it was time for another post especially since I found out in the past couple days that I gained a reader or two!! Welcome!
"Anyone can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a Dad."
People enjoy different kinds of music and I must admit through the fault of my awesome friends in college, I now enjoy country music. I wanted to share with you two of my favorite songs that I have heard on the radio. I don't know if they are old or new, just that they were on the country radio station. The first one is by Rodney Atkins called "Watching You". It just touches your heart how much a child watches you especially if you are a father or mother! I just want my future kid to look up to his Daddy like this kid looks up to his. (this song always brings tears to my eyes)
The other song that I heard for the first time today was called "He Didn't Have To Be" by Brad Paisley. It's a song about a broken family that becomes the traditional family. It talks about a man who makes all the sacrifices for a child who isn't theirs. I give so much credit to any man who is a dad. Any man who will do anything for his kids. Any man who takes up the slack of the men who bail out on their kids. Here's the video...Sims 2 version (the real version wasn't available to be embedded into my blog on YouTube)
Thank God for great men out there!
