A Weird/Good Night...
Friday night=weird/good night
Why? Well, it started off with a bang as soon as I got home from work. Captain N and I were scheduled to go bowling with Mr. Tickles. I had approximately 10 minutes to get ready, and I was filthy because my kids got to play in the dirt in the morning....and there was alot of throwing dry dirt around :) (I do love kids!) So, I promptly took a quick 5 minute shower before we headed out. I was ready in a mere 5 minutes after with one change of clothing choice. (not bad right....)
We met Mr. Tickles for bowling first, and just chatted while he finished up his first "warm-up" game. Then we started our game. Well...that's when the night took a turn for embarrassment...
After Mr. Tickles and Captain N took their turn, I was up. So I get up and get my 7 pound ball and start the bowling process. As I begin, I wiggle my butt as if to be a little sexy. Well, I hear Captain N and Mr. Tickles laugh behind me. After I roll my ball down the lane, I turn around and I don't remember what they said, but it was then that I realized that I had put on the one pair of jeans with the HUGE hole right near the pocket! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I was embarrassed to say the least! YIKES! I immediately turned bright red and covered it up with my shirt....while quickly asking Captain N if there was anything I could wear to cover up my mistake. Thankfully, he had one of his shirts in the car that I could wrap around my waste. That shirt is a lifesaver....from embarrassment.
So we bowl. I am a terrible bowler. I was a part of a league when I was something like 10-13?? and I couldn't bowl worth my life. I am pretty sure I was the team's handicap. It was fun at that age, but still...I stink at bowling. My highest score for most of my life was 98 and that was when I was 10-13. Recently, (talking back when I first met SavvyDollar Guy which was more than a year ago, but less then 2 years ago), I bowled my best game ever and beat my score by 4 points...scoring 102!
Tonight was a totally different ballgame for me. Captain N always beats me...but tonight...Let's just say...my name begins with J :)

100 and 102! What was a I drinking or on??? Nothing! How awesome is that! I tied my bowling score!
Crazy! Great! Embarrassing! Night......yep! It sure was!
Hope you had a great wildly weird weekend!

Our New Fridge!
Apparently, I'm getting lazy at posting again. To me, it's hard to find interesting topics to post about it. The wedding was BIG news and exciting and fun to plan...now we are back to our normally scheduled program....LIFE. Fun, exciting, boring, and yet interesting. I will try to post more then once a week, but there are no guarantees! (PS-Sonic keeps on encouraging me to post...so this post is dedicated to her!)
So, this past adventure was quite sudden and fun. Captain N and I have been talking about getting a new refrigerator it seems like forever. His refrigerator was old and sometimes made scary sounds. I didn't know when it would die on us, so we decided it was better to be safe then sorry.
We have been checking out Best Buy for deals and different kinds of refrigerators, and have found several that we liked...though never took the plunge and bought it. This weekend, we did a little compare shopping between Best Buy and Home Depot. Unfortunately for Best Buy, Home Depot won our money! We bought our first big together being married purchase! We bought a refrigerator! It's one of those refrigerators that has a freezer side and a refrigerator side. It also has a water and ice dispenser! Who would think that all those things are exciting, but they are!!! I can't wait to have cold fresh from the fridge without opening the door water!
We had to wait a couple days while it traveled our way. It finally arrived today! Captain N was able to stay home to welcome it, as well as say goodbye to the old refrigerator. I'm sure it was very emotional. I know I might have gotten a little water in my eyes.
So here are the before and after pictures!

Hope everyone has a blessed day!
