There is a certain comfort that come with your mom and dad no matter what age you are. I am lucky enough to enjoy these comforts every once in awhile. I love when I wake up and Mom is reading the Bible and drinking her coffee. I love seeing Dad enjoy himself by playing Spider Solitaire on the computer or reading the Economist. Just some of the small comforts of home…
Captain N and I just finished a week-long visit with them. It was a lot of fun being with them. Mom taught me some of her secret cooking ways, and Dad enjoyed spending time talking about sports or movies with Captain N. It was a great time and I will treasure it always,
I guess I am writing this to state that it's very hard to leave my parents no matter where I am or they are. So I am going through the effects of saying good-bye by writing. That's about it. I hope you are having a good day and treasuring every moment you spend with your parents.

On a more positive note....ELLEN has come back on and all the TV Shows are starting up again!

Kid Quotes
I have switched classrooms and now work with 4-5 year olds. It has its many benefits and one of them is looking at things from a child's point of view. Here are some cute recent quotes from my children.
(While playing outside)
Child 1: Teacher! Teacher! I just made a home run!
3 minutes later after the child has gone back to playing baseball
Child 1: Teacher! Guess What!! They are showing it on the big screen!
Child 1: My mommy was so hungry last night. She almost ate a horse!
Child 2: But did you stop her before she did?
Teacher: We are having fish sticks for lunch today.
Child 1: That's my favorite kind of fish.
Child 1: I coughed so hard, I made happy tears.
Child 1: (on a different fish stick day) This is how you make fish sticks. You cut a piece of bread in half, put the fish inside, and sew it back up.
Hope one of these made you smile because each of these made me smile!
Have a great day!
